I know, I know.. It's been ages since the last update, right? Yeah, well, I've been a bit busy as of late... ... ... Okay, I wont lie to you. I've just gotten rather bored of the website as of lately, so that's why there's been no updates. Alas, I've been doing other things, such as playing the wonderful Starcraft: Brood War. Some of you may say, "But that game is just plain OLD!" - That it may be, but it's still the greatest RTS (Real Time Strategy) out there. I've gotten back into it as of late, and I'm not regretting it one bit. But for those of you who are there with me in playing, or are interested, here's a great little tool... Evolution ForgeThis nifty little tool actually calculates the quickest route to a certain goal (or goals for that matter). Sounds simple, but it's got quite alot of neat features that one could use. If you feel you aren't being fast enough whilst playing, especially in rush games, you could bust open Evolution Forge and put in your list of goals and calculate the fastest route to achieve your goals. Once the program is done calculating, it will ask you to save your current build order. It then saves the build orders as easily readable HTML files with tables that contain all of the necessary data for you to get your fastest build-up of your goals. It's currently in its beta stages, so there are lots of little bugs, but that's why you download it; find the bugs; report them on the forums of the developer's site; and have them fixed in the next version! BlabbingOther than that, today the girlfriend and I went to the local Wal-Mart for some cheap-ish holiday shopping. The total for the presents came out to a bit more than I'd hoped to spend, but when it comes to Christmas, the best thing is seeing everyones faces after they get their gift... This is actually the first year I've been able to buy everyone something, so I'm excited to be able to get gifts for them. I also went and bought myself one of those Gillette M3 Power shavers. It comes with this moisturizing skin care shave gel, and it makes the face feel really smooth. The vibration of the shaver, believe it or not, actually makes for a smoother shave. My grilfriend was even shocked at how smooth it made my face. So, a pretty good shaver plus a great Starcraft tool equals a quality update. Until next time, Reader! |
