Real Life - The Online Comic ©1999-2005 Greg Dean

Just thought I'd let everyone in on this nifty little comic.. It's quite entertaining. As you can tell by the above title, it's run by a guy named Greg. The comic is loosly based off of the guys real life, but has some quite off-the-ball strips every once and a while. It's archived, too, so you can read every comic up from the first one. The comic can also relate to the average gamer, as well as the hardcore gamer. Very, very funny at times. Though, not to be harsh, but sometimes it can get a bit bland.

Real life!

No, not the comic, this is about me. I know there hasn't been any updates lately, but what can I say? I've been busy! Well, no, not really, but I finally think I've been neglecting the site for too long. Anyway, I can't remember if this has been mentioned before or not, but for those of you who dont know already, I changed the navigation to a more tabulated look, and added a read more link on topics that become a bit lengthy. Also, I've added a section called "My Albums," which lists all of the albums I currently have. If you click on the name of the album, you can retrieve more information on it. Alot of them don't have information on them, but that's because a) gracenote.com doesn't know anything about that album, or b) they're self titled albums. Such as Nirvana's Greatest Hits-It's not really an album.

Also, in a short blurb, I might be getting a job soon. I think Staples is taking interest. :)

    Ta ta for now!

Slim PS2, NFSU2, the Sony PSP, and other stuff

Recently i've been doing more gaming than anything else.. I really need to learn my priorities. I have homework that needs doing, but alas its already 4 am and I've put it off until tomorrow. Xmas break is coming too, and i've got to do work over break.. Bah! On to the more important stuff.

The new Slim PS2 (link)

Well, last Sunday I was finally able to completely retire my old PS2, which had died and would no longer read any type of disc inserted, as I stated in another article a while back. Last Saturday I had gone to EB Games only to find out they wouldn't sell the Slim PS2 without buying a value-pack (which it isnt), which basically means you have to spend atleast 200$ to get the console, along with the "value" items such as a controller and memory card, or memory card and game. You can't buy the console by itself until after the holidays. My friend came down from his home in Long Beach and we went to the local GameStop in hopes that we could get one there without the stupid 200$ "value-pack," to no avail. They were out of stock, but claimed they sell theirs without needing to buy anything else in addition. So the friend and I decided to just say "Screw it," and we wen't to EB Games and bought our self the new Slim PS2 in the "value-pack." I put that in quotes because it's not even a value pack, its more like, "You must spend atleast 200$ to get the console-pack." Anywho, I finally got my hands on this little machine, and I must say, it functions very nicely. For more... Read more

Evolution Forge & Starcraft?

Posted by Cory on Friday, December 10, 2004 4:12 AM

I know, I know.. It's been ages since the last update, right? Yeah, well, I've been a bit busy as of late... ... ... Okay, I wont lie to you. I've just gotten rather bored of the website as of lately, so that's why there's been no updates. Alas, I've been doing other things, such as playing the wonderful Starcraft: Brood War. Some of you may say, "But that game is just plain OLD!" - That it may be, but it's still the greatest RTS (Real Time Strategy) out there. I've gotten back into it as of late, and I'm not regretting it one bit. But for those of you who are there with me in playing, or are interested, here's a great little tool...... Read more

Lazy day...

Posted by Cory on Monday, November 29, 2004 4:53 AM

Yep. Lazy day.. So unfortunately for all you thrill seekers, theres nothing thrilling and/or exciting here today. Though, if you're looking for some thrills, you're surely looking in a bad spot! Anyway, as you've noticed, my auto-generated header image is on the fritz, and I just noticed it. Unfortunately for those of you who don't like the fact that theres a tiny red X up there, it's going to stay for now. It's really late (4:48 am), and I'm beat. Though, I stay up until this hour just about every night, which is somewhat rediculous. I know the lot of you that read this (if not just glance to see what it is) probably think im some sort of horrendously busy person, because of the fact I take forever to do anything what-so-ever to this site, but I'm really not.

It's a matter of interest, and right now, I'm just not interested! Bahahahaaaa.. I'm not that funny. YES, I know I'm just jibber-jabbering on and on, but it's my own space so i can feel free to do so, well, whenever I damn well feel like! ...And that's the end of that.

So until next time, go waste your time on something else besides reading someones post about how they're bored and unwilling to do anything to their website! TTFN. ;D

Rockstar Classics

Rockstar Classics Package

Quite the deal here folks. You can pick up the first 3 Grand Theft Auto's for a quick $9.99! That's practically a steal. The package includes Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto: London 1969, and Grand Theft Auto 2. It's currently being sold for the PC, and I'm not too sure as to whether or not you can buy it for any consoles.. *looks* ...eeehh... Not as far as I can see. Though if you have a console and want to play the original GTA's, you can simply buy them for about 10$ at any local game store (most likely). The originals are only for the original Playstation.

So unless you have the console, or a console that can support Playstation games (such as PS2), then you can't play it.. Sorry bud! But then again, if you're reading this right now, you obviously have a computer, so therefore, the old GTA's oughta run nicely on your machine. Also, there are other methods of obtaining GTA (legally) for absolutely, positively, free. Want to know more? Then just click... Read more

Ugh, the boredom.

Well, recently my playstation 2 decided to crap out on me and not want to play San Andreas anymore. So now i really have nothing to do.. I mean, I could be working on the site a little bit, but I'd rather not. For once I'm actually contemplating getting off the computer and just watching some good old-fashioned tv. Right now, Futurama is on, and afterwards will be some good-ole' Family Guy! Cartoon Network's new sub-section on their channel called Adult Swim has a pretty good amount of more adult-oriented cartoons... Read more

Midnite Challenge - The ultimate online racing experience

One of the best online games around, in my opinion.. Especially if you like cars. :) You can buy a car, mod it up, race against others for profit, for pinks, or just have a quick grudge match. It's something to do if you're bored, I suppose. You use Import Models to generate non-racing revenue by having them sell calendars, aka "Working" them... Read more
